Kevin Grady

Kevin was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His father was promoted/transferred to Syracuse, New York then Detroit, Michigan and then finally Charlotte, North Carolina when Kevin was 11 years old. The whole family enjoyed having a few acres out in the country in Waxhaw, North Carolina and begged dad not to move again. He didn’t.

Kevin graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School and University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After working his way through college in the construction industry, he started his own construction business with a $1,000 graduation gift from Dad. He built extravagant new custom homes and renovated large custom homes in the older part of Charlotte until 2009 when that business became unsustainable due to the mortgage crisis of 2008. He got into the family business and proudly hasn’t looked back.

After learning there was a real need for help, Kevin focused on retirement planning in a niche market: federal employees. Once he knew the ins and outs of federal employee benefits, he helped thousands of federal employees navigate toward a safe retirement. In most recent years he has worked with the general public utilizing the same principles. After working with his youngest brother Brendan, the founder of the Grady Group, for years in Charlotte, he opened a Greensboro office. The middle brother, Brian, opened an office in Greenville, South Carolina. And in just the past 3 years, the Grady group has expanded to nine offices due to six of his cousins opening up satellite offices in Chicago, Vermont, Connecticut, Florida and two in Texas.

Honesty, integrity and compassion help to make him a true advocate for everyone he works with. Like all Grady Group partners, he’s proudest of the fact that not one client has ever lost a penny.

We understand that not everyone out there is as fortunate as we are. For this reason, we believe in the importance of giving back to our community however we can. We do this by coupling with charities here in New England to hold charity events and fundraisers. If you’d like to learn more about the events we hold, contact us. After assisting his parents plow through a myriad of retirement opportunities, he was drawn to the retirement planning arena. Brendan believes that all seniors deserve to have an advocate. Treating each client with the same respect and care he gave his own parents is the core value of his practice.
